At APAMI Wildlife Rescue Center, an initiative of the Monkey Park Foundation, we proudly operate Santa Cruz’s only licensed wildlife rescue center. It is Costa Rican-owned and women-led. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wild animals back into their natural habitats.
For those animals that cannot safely return to the wild due to injury, illness, or other challenges, our sanctuary provides a permanent refuge where they can live safely and comfortably. This sanctuary also serves as an educational hub, inspiring the community to engage in conservation efforts and understand the importance of protecting natural ecosystems.
At APAMI Wildlife Rescue Center, we focus on initiatives that drive wildlife conservation and foster community engagement.
