Checks received without a designation will be used to support Amigos of Costa Rica operating costs. Receipts will be mailed to the address on the check unless you request a digital receipt.

For almost 40 years, the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE)—a private, non-political, and nonprofit association—has promoted Foreign Direct Investment in strategic sectors to generate employment and greater opportunities for Costa Rica’s most valuable asset: its people.
We work with a wide range of public and private partners to connect young Costa Ricans with limited resources to world-class training opportunities in language learning, STEAM, and other key skills for job preparedness. One of these programs, an English and Portuguese scholarship fund called Tools for Success+, has benefitted more than 2,000 Costa Rican students and resulted in more than 50% of participants obtaining a job at a CINDE member company.
CINDE was ranked in 2020 as the world’s top institution in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), by the International Trade Center. We are a Certified Carbon Neutral investment promotion agency. Since 2015, CINDE has sought to contribute to the global SDGs and the National Decarbonization plan by reducing emissions.
