Dale Una Mano a Costa Rica (D1MCR) is a dedicated NGO founded in 2015 with a mission to empower the youth of Matina County, the lowest socially and economically developed county in Costa Rica. We are passionate about creating opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and lead. Through immersive training programs in soft skills, vocational guidance, leadership development, and community action, we equip over 50 youth annually with the tools they need to thrive. Our impact reaches far beyond our direct participants, positively affecting more than 1,200 children, youth, and adults each year through our community activities and workshops.
At Dale Una Mano, we believe in the power of youth to drive change. We foster a nurturing environment where young individuals can identify community challenges, advocate for their rights, voice their concerns, and take action to create a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Our programs are designed to build resilience and promote inclusive growth, ensuring that participants not only better their own lives but also contribute to the well-being of their communities.
Your support makes it possible to bring our transformative experience to more young people in other vulnerable communities. By contributing to this cause, you help provide job training, vocational orientation, and employability skills for program participants, enabling them to enter the modern job market and empowering these youth to take an active role in shaping their community.
Join us in our mission to empower the next generation of leaders and create a brighter future for Costa Rica. Together, we can make a difference.
