About Us

Fundación Monge is a private non-profit organization in Costa Rica engaged in promoting access to education among young people and women-entrepreneurs, as a powerful tool to fight poverty, achieve social mobility and encourage personal growth. Through our programs, young students complete secondary school, pursue a vocational career, and successfully enroll in tertiary education or enter the labor market, mainly in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and services companies.

We also provide with training and development opportunities for women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Our Programs

Soy Cambio Student Leadership and Employability Program:

We promote 21st century job training for vulnerable young people through follow-up, coaching, labor intermediation, in addition to vocational training, English courses, and soft skills. We serve students aged 15-24, enrolled in public schools and universities, living in poor/vulnerable conditions, with a strong and proven will to succeed.

Soy Cambio-University:

Provides access to universities thanks to private-private and private-public alliances.

Soy Cambio Emprende:

We promote the inclusion of women in business, especially those who have not had access to training, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship abilities for whatever reason. Through our smart community hub and with the support of mission partners we deliver our training program: Tools for innovation and entrepreneurship: starting my business from scratch.
