FUNDAPROGRECI is an organization that focuses primarily on the wellness and safety of the visually impaired in Costa Rica. The foundation itself found the development of this process through different projects like Con Otros Ojos and La Corazonada Visual; the first focusing on sports & healthy lifestyle and the second referring to the artistic and cultural participation of the people with disabilities in Costa Rica.

Founded in the year 2000, FUNDAPROGRECI (Fundación para el progreso de las personas ciegas) is a Costa Rican organization that focuses primarily in the wellness and safety for the visually impaired population in Costa Rica.
The foundation itself found the development of this processes through different projects like Con Otros Ojos and La Corazonada Visual; the first one focusing on sports and healthy lifestyle and the second one referring the artistic and cultural participation of the people with disabilities in Costa Rica.
The foundation also made possible the establishment of the braille labeling of pills and access to the secret and independent vote, and programs for feeding guide dogs for the blind.
Our Con Otros Ojos Project seeks to promote sports and recreation for people with visual disabilities—adults and children—through walks, running races, trekking, and sensory walks. We also seek to increase the inclusion of visually impaired people in society.
Another very important area is the training and development for physical education professionals who want to be trained to develop specialized physical education methods for people with visual disabilities.
Our La Corazonada Visual Project seeks to promote the artistic and cultural participation of people with disabilities in Costa Rica.
