Jacó Impact is a social movement that works with the purpose of developing activities that allow the community to be integrated, minimizing social gaps and generating environmental and social awareness. This is carried out through 8 fundamental pillars that help address the problems encountered.

Our 8 Fundamental Pillars

Environment:
Through cigarette butt collection campaigns, recycling workshops, beach and river cleaning, etc.

Education:
Free English classes for children, tutoring in different subjects, celebration of important dates, campaigns to collect school supplies

Art & Culture:
Dance and body percussion classes, LESCO classes, or Costa Rican Sign Language, as well as the implementation of barter in the community through a digital platform

Sports:
Inclusive Surfing activities which includes young people at social risk and people with disabilities

Wellbeing:
Yoga and meditation classes, talks and workshops on nutrition, self-care, etc.

Entrepreneurship:
Giving support to local artisans through the organization of craft fairs

Social:
Our Food Bank provides basic supplies, fish, hygiene products and more, as well as donations of clothing, shoes, etc.

Animal Welfare:
