Nosara Animal Care (NAC) is a Costa Rican based, nonprofit, animal welfare organization whose mission is to help provide quality health care for the Nosara community’s most vulnerable domestic animals.
If you would like to donate by wire transfer or donate stock, please email admin@amigosofcostarica.org to receive the indicated account information. We will also confirm which project you would like to support with your donation and how you would like to receive your receipt.
Amigos of Costa Rica charges a 3% fee on donations. If you would like to cover the fees associated with your donation, please include an additional 3%.

Checks received without a designation will be used to support Amigos of Costa Rica operating costs. Receipts will be mailed to the address on the check unless you request a digital receipt.

Nosara Animal Care (NAC) is a Costa Rican based, nonprofit, animal welfare organization located in Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Established in 2010, NAC’s mission is to help provide quality health care for the Nosara community’s most vulnerable domestic animals.
Through our Outreach Rescue program we subsidize the cost of veterinary care, medications, and food for at-risk animals living in low-income homes. Foster homes are located for strays and when ready they are placed in appropriate adoptive homes.
NAC works with the community through Educational Programs presented in the local schools, to promote animal health and responsible care.
NAC sponsors low cost Spay/Neuter Clinics throughout the year and provides trapping, castration and release for feral cats.
Our goal is to eliminate animal suffering and promote compassion.
