Educational Programs/Community Engagement —
This aspect of our work focuses on increasing awareness and engagement within our local communities through social media, educational materials, partnerships with other non-profits working in our region, community events, and local campaigns (e.g., highway billboards, graphics, multimedia, etc.).
Socially Responsible Development Program —
Costa Rica has excellent environmental and constitutional laws in place to protect forests, wetlands, and other natural resources. Our organization works to ensure that developments (planned or initiated) are scrupulously adhering to these laws and regulations. Through the use of legal actions, research, and government accountability, we hold those responsible for design, approval, and implementation responsible to ensure that our communities remain healthy, resilient, and sustainable for future generations.
