Julio Matarrita always liked numbers, but he started to like them even more when he saw that they could empower him to help people solve problems. He decided he wanted to be an economist. Mauricio Calderon, International Baccalaureate (IB) teacher at the Liceo de San Carlos and the Liceo de Palmares, has been part of the IB program for many years.
