We focus on building a healthy environment for children and teenagers across the country that are living in situations of extreme poverty. Through our various social programs, we aim to develop the educational and leadership capacity of a community that has little to no economic growth.

Our organization is dedicated to growth and building a culture of solidarity. We offer several participative programs for children and teenagers that live in situations of extreme poverty.

We choose families with minors in need of support that are willing to fully commit to our programs and participate in activities that are tailored by our organization for their specific community.
Construyendo Sonrisas has been at the service of children and teenagers living in extreme poverty for over 10 years, providing the necessary tools for their integral development, thus making them actors in their own process. By aiming to achieve their success, we have improved the lives of more than 500 kids in dire need of care situated in areas of high deprivation.
We help children and teenagers by providing customized programs that are tailored to the needs of the specific community. We find sponsors or as we call them, “godparents”, and pair them with financial sponsors that help provide health, social, and educational services. A large part of what we do also is build and operate community centers, so children have a clean, safe, and permanent place to grow and learn.
Thanks to the Foundation's efforts in our children's and teenage programs since 2016, the school / college success rate exceeds 83%.
Children win by being rewarded for their effort to maintain grades and behaviors, donors win by seeing their resources being strategically invested and by receiving constant reports of their results. Society wins every time one of these kids’ succeed and finally, our organization wins by seeing this wonderful circle of social responsibility impacting the lives of so many; kids who become good people and contribute to the country.
