If you would like to donate by wire transfer or donate stock, please email admin@amigosofcostarica.org to receive the indicated account information. We will also confirm which project you would like to support with your donation and how you would like to receive your receipt.

The Costa Rica U.S.A. Foundation for Cooperation (CRUSA) created Dr. Ana Sittenfeld Specialized Technical Scholarship Program and CRUSA-AFS Scholarship Program for Scientific High School Students.
- Scholarships aimed at students who are completing their last year in professional technical high schools (CTPs) or their International Baccalaureate (IB) and want to continue studying in technical fields in U.S. community colleges
- Scholarship beneficiaries will be able to complement their academic education with internships at companies that have operations in Costa Rica and headquarters on U.S. soil.
- The program has the support of CINDE (the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency), the U.S. Embassy, United Airlines and the Costa Rican-North American Cultural Center (CCCN) through its educational counseling office, Education USA.
- Scholarships for students who are completing their tenth year at scientific high schools, have an intermediate level of English, demonstrated academic excellence, a leadership profile, and a desire to go into a science and technology-related field.
- Beneficiaries study one year of high school in the U.S. The scholarship includes transportation, lodging, meals and a stipend for personal expenses.
- The program is promoted by the U.S. Embassy in Costa Rica and American Field Service (AFS Costa Rica).
